Comme son père, et Septime-Sévère, auparavant, Bassien était natif du Bélier, mais il n'est pas exclu que sa versatilité lui fût venue de la Balance, régie par Vénus-Astarté, elle-même. Ainsi, Bassien résolvait-il, en lui-même, et dans son horoscope, l'opposition des contraires, dans l'harmonie, l'équilibre, et la symétrie du tracé de ses symboles astrologiques : Le Bélier, signe de Feu, face à la Balance, signe d'Air. Le Bélier, signe de Mars diurne, face à la Balance, signe de Vénus nocturne. Le Masculin face au Féminin.

Ce livre est né d'un croisement de désirs : d'abord, celui de poser en mots les méthodes de travail que j'ai pu mettre en pratique avec mes enfants depuis leur plus jeune âge et celui surtout de pouvoir aider aujourd'hui des parents démunis voire impuissants devant le manque de motivation et de travail de leur enfant. Ce livre se veut donc didactique car basé sur la répétition de l'apprentissage. Il rassemble une multitude d'idées, d'outils, de conseils, d'explications sur le fonctionnement de l'enfant face à l'apprentissage.... Il illustre à lui seul les difficultés que les parents peuvent rencontrer et donne quelques pistes de réflexion afin, je l'espère, que les maux des parents se transforment en mots face à leurs enfants démotivés. J'ai souhaité partager mon expérience de maman afin que vous, « parents concernés » ne vous sentiez plus jamais seuls face à l'incompréhension, face aux jugements, et face surtout à votre propre souffrance.
